Superman is a Saint
If Superman represents the greatness contained in all men and women, written upon our hearts by the very God we seek to serve, then we represent that that very greatness can be attained by anyone, that it is a fundamentally human goal, and indeed, is the very reason each and every one of us is here. John Paul II, another superhero, once wrote to our generation "Never settle for less than the moral and spiritual greatness of which you all are capable." Let's take those words to heart, and live our lives, in Christ, the very source and inspiration for us, who is indeed the greatest hero of all.

Watched Eagle Eye over the weekend. Same theme, but the mechanism of destruction being primarily our own infrastructure. Duh! What are these people thinking?

Kinda weak, no?
I mean, I’m not really into the Terminator mythology, but after seeing the first 3 movies (the second one dozens of times) I noticed:
- The red-eyed terminators weren’t the first ones and were built to resemble humans
- Skynet was a military defense program designed by Cyberdyne for the DoD
- No one realised Skynet was ’self-aware’ nor able to control other programs and networks by proxy because Skynet was so damn smart.
Yes, yes, yes, I know the emails are jokes and yes, I bags of salt apply.
I’m just sayin’.
